Our Full service Offering
If you would like your garden designed, built, plants supplied and your garden planted up, then we would be delighted to help. We offer a fully comprehensive bespoke service supplying everything you need. We have our own excellent and trusted contractors if you don’t have your own.
We would start with an initial consultation, generally lasting around an hour, to discuss your requirements and look at the garden. At that meeting, we will discuss the whole process with you and answer all questions you may have on any aspect of your garden including ballpark figures for the project.
After that initial meeting, a short contract will be drawn up, outlining everything you have asked for and giving you a fixed fee for a survey and design of your garden. We would be delighted if you wished to go ahead but there is no obligation.
Client Testimonial
"We recently used the services of Lisa Lempsink (Lempsink Garden Design) to restructure our garden and are absolutely delighted with the result. Lisa came up with the overall design, liaised with the contractors (Concept Landscaping Ltd and Farrell Electrical & Property Services Ltd) throughout the design and build and then prepared a planting plan and sourced all the plants. Lisa was also on hand at every stage to offer advice and suggestions. The whole process was stress-free (for us anyway!) and everything progressed smoothly while still allowing us to be fully involved and consulted throughout the process. The attention to detail by everyone involved in the project and the quality and finish of our new garden has exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait for spring to make use of our new outdoor space and to see how the planting develops over the next couple of years. Definitely a worthwhile investment! "Linda & Jim Bissett, Falkland
Planting Plan & Planting Service
Just need a planting plan?
If you just need a planting plan for either the whole of your garden or just parts of it, then we’d be delighted to help you. We can also supply all the plants you require and if you wish, have your garden planted up for you.
To discuss your planting plan requirements, we would arrange an initial consultation with you taking around an hour. At that meeting we’ll discuss everything required to undertake a planting plan that meets your needs. The planting plan process will be explained to you at that meeting and all your questions answered.
Client Testimonial
"Lisa is weaving her magic into my rather dull and green Edinburgh town garden. Her suggestions are sympathetic to the old stone walls and the layout of a New Town north-facing position, and she understands intuitively not only what to plant where, but equally what kind of garden would appeal to us as a family. Her workmanship is outstanding, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I am looking forward to spring when the blossoms and flowers are beginning to emerge and will contact her in the near future for more exciting planting proposals."Dagmar Alexander, Edinburgh
Advisory Service
At Lempsink Garden Design we are happy to come out and consult with you to advise on any aspect of your garden. We offer this as a stand-alone service, or as a pre-cursor to undertaking a design or planting plan.
This consultation takes around 1 hour.
Ready to get going?
What happens next will depend on which service you would like. If it’s a full design and build you are after, we would start with an initial consultation. We would then organise a survey of your existing garden to take your garden measurements and levels prior to starting work on the design. The survey will either be undertaken by us or professional land surveyors on our behalf. This will have been discussed, quoted for and agreed with you prior to you accepting our design quote. Once the survey has been done, a draft plan of your garden design will be undertaken and shown to you with some 3-D visualisations to help you see how your garden will look. Materials and special features will be discussed and agreed upon at this stage.
After that meeting a full plan drawn to scale will be completed in black and white and we will arrange to see you and go through the plan with you once it has been done. Once you are happy with everything, a copy of the design will be given to both you and the landscape contractor. He will use it to produce a quote for your garden build.
After the quote has been accepted, a date will be agreed for the build to start. While the garden is being built, a planting plan will be done for the garden. Once you have seen the planting plan and are happy with that, then the plants will be sourced and ordered, and your garden is usually planted up soon after the build is complete.
If you would like to use our advisory or planting plan service, then we will arrange a convenient time with you for a consultation.
Aftercare
Many of our clients require varying levels of aftercare to suit their individual needs. We can put that in place for you with an individual we think would be best suited to you. This can be discussed at any stage of the project.
