A contemporary Edinburgh garden design

This beautiful detached Georgian villa required a garden that was both sympathetic to the age of the existing house but still contemporary in design. The clients wanted a garden of big sweeping beds of colour with an informal, natural look and feel to it. Raised beds were created with reclaimed timbers giving a nod to the age of this period house. A seating area for six was required created by beautiful sandstone pavers along with fruit trees and bird, bee and butterfly friendly planting.
